| Visit Us The farm offers a range of habitats at present, with hedges round the fields containing some mature trees, areas of rough grassland, ponds and young trees. In the future we hope to create different types of permanent grassland including hay meadows. Whether you want to train your dog to work with sheep, introduce a group of children to the countryside, learn about sheep or just take a quiet evening walk and watch sheep dogs at work, Mayfields Farm is the place for you. We have all this and more on offer on this small friendly farm in the heart of Norfolk. If you think there is something we can do for you please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements. |
Sheep Dog TrainingSarah will be training sheep dogs and handlers at Mayfields, and keeping small flocks of pedigree Norfolk Horn, Southdown, Ryeland and Scottish Black face sheep. Mayfields is home to Heathgate and Shadwell working sheep dogs, Dove, a grey fell shepherd’s pony, and Bonnie, a grey Shetland pony.
